Our Tanzanian project partner Kiraracha School has recently had it's plans for 9 more classrooms approved. The school already has 400 children attending each day but it is unable to find space for the hundreds of children in the community currently going without education.
A few weeks ago 29 students from CBC University of Life visited the nearby town of Campos Belos, for a day of social action and evangelism on the streets and in the houses. The town is home to 9,000 people yet there is no hospital, no high school, no drinking water, no sewage system and no hope.
In Ecuador, our partner Mano & Mano have enjoyed a very busy summer of Holiday Clubs for local children. With a mixture of games, quizzes, crafts, songs, prizes and refreshments, the clubs were also an excellent opportunity to share Bible stories with the children.
Caring for over 150 orphaned and abandoned children does not come cheap! But with the right idea and a small investment, we can make a little go a long, long way.
