At Hand in Hand we have always liked to encourage youth in their response to the poor as well as trying to maintain a youthful image at the charity. As trustees we have decided to have a trial year for a GAP year student to work part time with the charity in the office, gaining an understanding of how a UK charity works as well as developing office skills which will be a great asset for the their future CV and giving the student the opportunity to work at a couple of our projects overseas.
Visit two projects – One in Kenya (either Daylove or New Hope)
One in Ecuador – Mano y Mano
Minimum length of time at each location 2 weeks, maximum 2 months
At both projects we are able to offer support
