"Hand in Hand is a Christian development agency that exists to respond to the needs and problems caused by poverty and injustice overseas. 

In equal partnership with overseas organisations Hand in Hand works to give assistance; allowing poor and marginalized people and communities the opportunity to make their own choices."

Hand in Hand has been fighting poverty and injustice since the early 1990's. In that time we have seen countless lives changed as a result. Children are learning to build better lives and their families are being equipped to help them as they grow.

We hope that this website will help you see all of the good that has been done over the past fifteen years, and we hope you stay to have a good look around.

Dave Garlick and Phil James are cycling from Lands End to John O’Groats.
In celebration of Hand in Hand's ten years as a registered charity, trustee Dave Garlick, along with Phill James will cycle from Land's End to John O'Groats in July 2008. We start this epic journey on the 18th July from Lands End, aiming to ride the 900+ miles in just nine days, travelling up the west side of the country.
